Today is the first friday of the 2011 Lenten season and will be having the "way of the cross" this evening.
Way of the cross is to make a spiritual pilgrimage of prayer, pausing at each depiction to meditate on the suffering of Jesus Christ, and the holiness of the resurrection.
Such contemplation of Christ’s suffering may help people find their own way through difficult times in their lives.
Hence people feel it as a precious prayer service.
The Fourteen Stations of the Cross are:
It is the time to take some resolutions for this lent to follow strictly and devotedly.

- Jesus is given his cross
- Jesus falls the first time
- Jesus meets His Mother
- Simon of Cyrene carries the cross
- Veronica wipes the face of Jesus
- Jesus falls the second time
- Jesus meets the daughters of Jerusalem
- Jesus falls the third time
- Jesus is stripped of His garments
- Crucifixion: Jesus is nailed to the cross
- Jesus dies on the cross
- Jesus' body is removed from the cross (Deposition or Lamentation)
- Jesus is laid in the tomb and covered in incense.
